Dementia: Changing our
Perspective
February 24th
From: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
This workshop will provide information, tools and
resources on how to apply an innovative visionary
outlook to care for individuals with Alzheimer's
disease and related dementia (ADRD). Featured
speakers will include Dr. Allen Power, Author of
Dementia Beyond Drugs and Dr. Richard Taylor
author of Dementia from the Inside Out.

We would like to thank WineStyles for helping us
raise money
through a wine tasting and silent auction
event in November. It was great fun and we appreciate their
generosity.
This year the
Rasmuson Foundation Staff joined with the United Way in
their annual Day of Caring. The Foundation staff chose
our organization for a landscaping project at our
Anchorage location. We would like to extend our
heartfelt thank you to the staff for their vigorous
efforts to make it possible for our site to be viewed
more clearly from the road. One of our grateful visitors
stated "Oh my goodness, it's so beautiful, my driver
didn't miss the driveway for the first time since I
began coming to your classes".
Noah Marine, Inc. joined the
Foundation staff in the afternoon and moved 11 tons of
rock; we could not have completed the project without
Andy Allsup's wonderful assistance!
