Donor Privacy

The Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska may ask for and collect information from you depending on the information and/or services you’ve requested. This information may include your name, company, address, phone number, email address and payment details.

We use the information that you provide for such purposes as processing your donation, responding to your requests, sending newsletters, invitations and general updates on our programs. In our mailings, you will have the opportunity to change your contact information or mailing preferences, or removal from our mailing list.

You can choose not to provide us with certain information. Upon request, we will keep your donations anonymous in our publications and on our website. To make such a request, please notify us in writing, by phone, or by email at any time.

Resale or disclosure of contact information to third parties

We will not share, trade, sell or exchange your information with third parties.

Email lists

The Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska maintains email lists to keep you informed about news related to frail Alaskans, individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and their caregivers.  Individuals can join our mailing list at any time.  We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the e-mail addresses to third parties.

Security

We make every effort to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and alteration using industry accepted data collection and encryption.  If you are concerned about the safety of your credit card information online, we offer you multiple ways to submit a donation, including sending a check by mail or calling our office at (907) 561-3313.
