Raising Awareness and Funds for Alaskans with Dementia

Anchorage, AK, May 19, 2013 - Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska and  Amblin for Alzheimer’s 2013, a walk to support individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia in Alaska. raised approximately $64,000 on May 18. The walk began with food, music, prizes and art activities available for everyone who participated.

Research Forum

Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska will be hosting an Alzheimer’s Research Forum with Brian W. Edmonds,  Ph.D., in Anchorage, Juneau and Fairbanks.  Edmonds will discuss the current trends nationally in the research of Alzheimer’s as well as relay his own research, carried out at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
