The purpose of Dementia Care Essentials is to enable the learner to identify strategies they will implement into their practice that will increase a sense of safety, security, comfort and quality of life for the person living with dementia. Participants will learn a variety of components of dementia care including communication and how to address behavioral challenges.
To receive full contact hour credit for this CNE activity you must:
* Sign the Verification of Attendance Form
* Remain until the scheduled end time and attend all five (5) sessions
* Complete the Evaluation Form following the activity
* Pass Post-Test with 80% or more
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
