The purpose of Dementia Care Essentials is to enable the learner to identify strategies they will implement into their practice that will increase a sense of safety, security, comfort and quality of life for the person living with dementia. Participants will learn a variety of components of dementia care including communication and how to address behavioral challenges.
This class is a two hour, five week course for professional, clasess will run from October 21- November 18.

To receive full contact hour credit for this CNE activity you must:
Sign the Verification of Attendance Form
Remain until the scheduled end time and attend all five (5) sessions
Complete the Evaluation Form following the activity
Pass Post-Test with 80% or more
