After receiving a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia, one can experience a wide range of emotions. Feelings can include denial, fear, loneliness, frustration, sadness or anger. If you have recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia, there is support.
Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska hosts “Mind Matters”- an educational and support program for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, and their families.

Sharing personal experiences in a positive and supportive environment.
This is a 6 week course and we will meet every Wednesday for 8 weeks. October 30-December 18.
