I don’t have Alzheimer’s or dementia; can I still receive services?

Yes. Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska serves individuals 60 years and older with physical or cognitive limitations. Call to find out what services you qualify for.

How do I know what service I need?

I don’t have money to spend on this kind of thing, can you still help me?

Yes. There are a number of options to help with the financial aspects of receiving care.  This can be an overwhelming process that is why we have specialists to help set you up with a plan that will work for you.  The easiest way to navigate through this is to contact us.

Are In-Home workers trained? Do they have background checks?

Yes. All workers must pass state and federal background checks and must be CPR and First Aid Certified.  They must also complete a minimum of 10 hours per year of continuing education in a related care field.
