Alzheimer's Resource of Alaska's 19th annual fun walk, held at the Anchorage Golf Course.
All funds raised stay in Alaska! Funds raised go towards meeting the needs of those living with Alzheimer's, related dementias, or other disabilities and their families and caregivers through support groups, educational programs, and care coordination.
- Doors open at 9 am
Registration & Check-in, Breakfast sponsored by Sal's New York Grill, live music, and festivities begin.
- The first registered particpants at the event will receive swag bags, available on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out.
- 9:40 am Kickoff Program
Emcee Trill Gates with a welcome from Mayor Dave Bronson.
- Walk begins at 10 am
The walk is approximately two miles on cart paths around the front nine holes, which includes rolling hills. Sorry, no pets are allowed on the course.
- Closing ceremony at 11:15 am
Refreshments, door prize drawings (must be present to win), costume contest, silent auction closes.
