Memory Café

November 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us for our monthly Memory Café in Chugiak! Memory Cafés are free gatherings that offer a warm, welcoming, and supportive space for people living with dementia, their care partners, and anyone interested in brain health to connect, share experiences, and enjoy music, coffee, and conversation.

For individuals living with dementia, opportunities for meaningful social connection are especially important. While memories may change, the feelings of joy, belonging, and connection can remain. A familiar song, a shared laugh, or a simple conversation can bring comfort, spark cherished memories, and create meaningful moments for individuals and their loved ones.

Memory Cafés are about more than gathering for coffee. They are about creating a community where everyone feels valued, understood, and included. They offer a chance for care partners to connect with others who share similar experiences, for individuals living with dementia to engage without judgment, and for friendships to grow in an environment filled with compassion and understanding.

Because even when memories fade, meaningful connections and the feelings they create can last. 💙
