Ten Keys to Dementia Risk Reduction

A Program for Cognitive Wellness and Resilience

Your brain health matters, and there are proven steps you can take today to protect it. Ten Keys to Dementia Risk Reduction is a research grounded, prevention focused program that empowers adults to reduce their risk of dementia by up to 70% through simple, practical lifestyle changes. Across ten interactive sessions, participants explore how everyday habits influence memory, thinking, and long-term cognitive wellness, gaining tools that build resilience at every stage of life.

Developed by the nonprofit Brain Health & Hope and grounded in current medical research, Ten Keys emphasizes that many dementia risk factors are modifiable. Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska is proud to be the first organization outside of Iowa to successfully launch this program and the only organization in Alaska offering this evidence-based course. Through expert guidance, goal setting, and supportive group discussion, participants take meaningful steps toward lifelong brain health.
