Second Saturday Art Exhibit
A Community Art Exhibit Celebrating Creativity, Connection, and Expression
In recognition of National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska (ARA) is proud to showcase artwork created by individuals living with Alzheimer’s and related dementia alongside their caregivers during our Art Brings Us Together painting workshop.
Each piece celebrates the power of creativity, connection, and self-expression, reminding us that art can communicate what words sometimes cannot.
Drinks and snacks provided.
Artwork purchased at this exhibit and throughout November will support Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska and our mission to serve Alaskans affected by dementia.
Why This Exhibit Matters
- Celebrating creativity and abilities beyond a dementia diagnosis
- Building meaningful connections through art
- Reducing stigma and promoting dementia awareness
- Supporting individuals and families affected by dementia across Alaska
