Fiscal Year 2020 Board of Directors
Pamela Kelley serves as Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska. She works with a diverse board of directors, the professional staff, family caregivers and community partners across Alaska. She oversees the organization’s effectiveness by providing strategic, operational and inspirational leadership that is consistent with the mission, values and principles of Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska (ARA).
For the three years prior to becoming the Executive Director, Pam served as the organization’s Education Director. In that role she led a dedicated team of educators with expertise in field of dementia training. Her years of service as the Education Director for ARA were influenced by the myriad lessons learned while supporting and providing care for a family member who lived with Alzheimer’s disease. She worked as a lawyer and coordinated the paralegal studies program at the University of Alaska Anchorage before personally and professionally immersing herself in the field of dementia care.
Originally from Ohio, Pam moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1985 with her husband, Dave. Together they continue to enjoy exploring wild Alaska on foot or skis, by kayak and canoe whenever they can.
Pam is a member of the Alaska Bar Association (inactive). She earned her Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law. She is widely published on subjects ranging from the First Amendment to end-of-life.
