💙 Join Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska at AFN 2026!

The Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) Convention brings together Alaska Native leaders, families, organizations, and communities from across the state to celebrate culture, strengthen connections, and address issues impacting Alaskans. We’re excited to be part of this year’s gathering and connect with people from communities throughout Alaska!

Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska will have a resource table at AFN! Stop by to meet our team, grab some great ARA swag, learn more about our organization, and discover the programs, education, and support we provide to individuals and families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

We’ll also have staff on site at the Dena’ina Center, 2nd Floor, Room 5, supporting two important community events:

Thursday, October 22 | 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Elizabeth Peratrovich Legal Clinic

Free 30 minute walk-in consultations with legal professionals covering family law, housing, probate, wills, Medicaid, debt, and more. No appointment necessary!

Friday, October 23 | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Elder Appreciation & Wills Clinic

A special opportunity honoring Elders and their families with free estate planning appointments and community resources. Services include wills, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives. Registration is required by October 22 for estate planning appointments.

ARA will also be offering memory screenings and dementia consultations to help individuals and families better understand memory changes, ask questions, and connect with resources available throughout Alaska.

At Alzheimer’s Resource Alaska, we believe every Alaskan deserves access to information, education, and support, regardless of where they live. Events like AFN provide an invaluable opportunity to reach individuals from rural and remote communities, strengthen partnerships, and continue building a more dementia friendly Alaska.
