Caregiver 101: End of Life
Caring for someone with dementia at the end of life can be one of the most meaningful and challenging parts of the caregiving journey. CG101: End of Life provides guidance, understanding, and support for navigating this stage with compassion and confidence. In this Caregiving 101 class, participants will learn what to expect as dementia progresses, how to recognize signs of end of life, and how to support comfort, dignity, and quality of life during this time.
This class also explores the emotional aspects of caregiving, offering space to reflect, prepare, and access supportive resources. Caregivers will gain practical tools for decision making, communication with care teams, and honoring the wishes of their loved one. Designed for family caregivers, friends, and professionals, this session provides a thoughtful, supportive approach to one of the most important phases of care.
