Person-Centered Care for Individuals with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities and Dementia

Person-Centered Care for Individuals with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities and Dementia

Tuesday November 15 2022 @ 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

This is an online webinar available Statewide in Alaska.

There is a repeat of this webinar on November 17.
Register for the one that fits your schedule.

This class is designed for professionals but open to anyone interested in learning more about person-centered dementia care.

A dementia diagnosis for someone experiencing an intellectual developmental disability (IDD) requires a care team with specialized knowledge and skill. It is vital that everyone involved understand the changes that occur and what current best practices are available to help. Through adapting our caregiving goals and approach to meet the needs of each unique individual living with IDD and dementia, we can continue to support their success and quality of life.

Free to attend! Registration required.
