Dana

Dana grew up in Michigan with her father, mother and younger brother. She attended Oakland University in Rochester Hills Michigan, earning a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2003. Dana moved to Alaska in November 2020 with her boyfriend and their German Shepherd KOBA. They enjoy taking KOBA to the dog park and going for hikes in the valley. Dana looks forward to building a house and making memories in Alaska!

She choose to be a care coordinator because she wants to help advocate for Alaskans in need and help them live a full life—to help tear down obstacles that one might face and give them the best possible outcomes. Dana says that helping others brings her great joy!
