This year’s Amblin’ for Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska Honorary Chair, Julie Fate Sullivan, extends a heartfelt invitation to all Alaskans to join this vital cause. Having personally experienced the impact of Alzheimer’s within her family, Julie underscores the importance of ARA‘s services and the critical role of community support in providing care and assistance.

“My husband, Senator Dan Sullivan, and I know that it is the families, spouses, and children who become the caregivers – and it is critical that we do more to support these heroes in our homes.”

By 2030, the number of Alaskans experiencing Alzheimer’s disease is expected to double. Participation in Amblin’ for Alzheimer’s, whether by walking, sponsoring, or volunteering, directly contributes to the expansion of essential resources and support services. Your involvement makes a difference, offering hope and help to those in need.

We also offer various sponsorship levels with benefits, providing an excellent opportunity for businesses and organizations to receive positive media and community recognition while contributing to a noble cause.

This year’s Amblin’ for Alzheimer’s is bound to be a memorable event. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those impacted by ADRD in Alaska. May the force be with you as we walk together in support of this vital mission. We look forward to seeing you there!

Since 1984, Alzheimer’s Resource of Alaska (ARA) has been at the forefront, offering a beacon of hope and support for Alaskans living with ADRD. As the state’s leading grassroots, nonprofit organization, all funds raised stay in Alaska and help our fellow Alaskans. Funds raised provide education and care coordination to Alaskan living with ADRD, their care partners and their families.
